For the past decade, our founder, Rodrigo Rurawe, has traveled extensively alongside the elders of the Wixarika and more recently the Mazatec communities to promote the cultural exchange of their ancestral wisdom and cosmo-vision. They have worked extensively throughout Europe, in England, Netherlands, France, and Iceland. Their work is expanding to Africa, Costa Rica, Bali and more places to come.

Each journey has been a pilgrimage, and prayer for the unity of humanity; sharing with communities across the world the ancestral wisdom of Mexico; of reciprocity and giving back to the earth.

These photos document some of the work in recent years, as these global communities have blossomed through collective healing and collaboration. They have become the roots of the vision of the foundation, as we work further towards the protection and support of indigenous wisdom and communities.

Each year, Rodrigo also works with the Wixarika ceremonial center he is committed to, to bring pilgrims from across the world to join the bi-annual pilgrimages of the tradition in Mexico. In this way, many people have been able to experience the profound magic of this spiritual path directly from the source, and has furthered the bridges of collaboration.

Through these journeys, we have come to understand the challenges the communities face, and we are taking action to gather the resources to support them in finding solutions so that their way of life can continue in a sustainable way for the next generations.

In recent years, we have created a relationship of collaboration with the Mazatecs, with the same mission, to enable elders of the community to share their wisdom and ancestral medicine with more people seeking physical and spiritual healing and connection to deep knowledge of the earth.
